Class 3 Cestoda

  • Exclusive parasitic
  • Body: dorso-ventrally flattened tape like
  • Hooks and sucker are present
  • Digestive system-absent
  • Excretion: Protonephridia with flame cell
  • Examples: Taenia spp ( tapeworm), Convoluta, Echinobothrium
